Cold Harbor Suite 3 | ||
Part of a series of photographs taken at Cold Harbor National Battlefield. Two of my ancestors were at this battle, in which nearly 20,000 soldiers were either killed or wounded. I felt as if I had been there before, standing in the same fields, kneeling in the same earthworks and walking the same lanes. I tried to capture this in my pictures. | ||
